Hi Looking at the Kaldewei Duschplan 1200 x 900 steel shower tray. On the technical drawing it looks like it is surface mounted 160mm high which is labelled 'height with support'- and quite a large support structure- is this something that has to be built or is it supplied with the tray. Asking because most of the foot supports Kaldewei make are for flat trays close to the floor- or is there a tall support they make for 1200 x 900 Duschplan tray? Thanks

"The measurement you are looking at is for the shower tray installed with polystyrene support which you can purchase the tray either with or without, please see page 2 of the attached PDF where it offers the RRP’s for both options.
If you did not want to use the poly support you could either install the tray directly on to the floor, for this you would need to cut-out part of the floor to allow for the fall of the tray and the waste or you can use the FR5300 foot frame which can be installed at a range of heights up to 164mm. For both of these types of installation, we would recommend also supporting the more inner areas of the underside of the tray with either a MAS 5305 Central Support or by using a 2x expanding foam in certain areas.
I hope this helps, if you require any further information please feel free to contact me."
