My existing Ideal Standard playa toilet seat has broken and needs replacing. Does the seat have a quick release or does the toilet have to be taken out to remove the old seat and replace .

We have attached the instructions for the soft close and normal close seats, they are both top fixing seats so you should be no need to gain access to the back of the pan.
