This is damn near perfect. I can''t think of ANYTHING else I''ve bought in the last 10 years that I can say about, quite honestly. The design is excellent - it looks elegant and stylish, and when closed up as normally, except in use is remarkably unobtrusive as it''s so thin and slender. Despite that, incredibly, it''ll take far more, perhaps twice, the weight of the average shower seat apparently - that was fairly irrelevant personally but still reassuring that it''s so strong. Installing is excellent - there''s a separate plastic block that you screw to the wall and the seat then clips securely onto this, so you can take the seat off again in seconds if needed. The fixing block is lightweight so it''s really easy to place with one hand and get level while marking drilling holes - no holding up of an entire metal/wood seat. It has 5 fixings, not 2 or 3, so you can be sure of a good hold. They''re hidden out of sight, covered by the seat, and not in shower spray. ALL shower seats should be designed this way, clearly. All wall fixings/screws are even included. After extensive Googling it appears half, third or even quarter the price of rivals, most of which look far uglier or "medical". You could not make it up. This is a design classic in my opinion and absolutely remarkable value for money. UNRESERVEDLY recommended. Seriously!
