Hi, i am unclear what shape a lefthand and righthand shower base is. I need it to go in left corner with longest side on left wall

We are guessing you are wanting an Offset tray then? As these are handed.

Looking from front,
If the longest side of the tray is on Left Hand side then, you will require Right hand tray.

If the longest side of the tray is on Right Hand side then, you will require Left hand tray
You can even refer the technical drawing where Right and Left hand tray is specified
